Hampstead Rock Ladies F.C. was formed in November 2006 by Keira Page.
Keira's main goal was to create a team full of players who took a laid-back approach towards women's football, which would allow the team to progress at a slow and steady pace so that all members would feel welcome within the team. Keira now feels this has been achieved and now aims to register the team in the London and Greater London Women's Football League in early September 2008.
Since November 2006 the team has expanded from a handful of women to almost 20, with regular tryouts taking place throughout the year hosted by the team's coaches Matthew Westwater and Sophie Jackson.
The team's main objective is to arrange association and friendly football matches as well as regular social activities for all its players.
